There were many generous and education loving persons who contributed immensely to the foundation of the school. One of them is Sri Sri Rathindranath Ghosh who took a leading role with others in the setting up of the school with a view to the development of education among the children living in and around the locality. His great contribution with others is worth remembering. Another great person was the owner of the land of the school who donated the land generously for the establishment of the school. We shall remain grateful to them for the noble gesture.
Thus SaibonaAghorenath High School (H.S.) of village Saibona, P.O.-Malikapur, P.S.-Duttapukur, 24Pgs(N) came into existence on 2nd January in 1967. The School started its academic function from 2nd January, 1967. Sri Sri Rathindranath Ghosh was the first founder Head Teacher of the school.
That time, there was no primary school at the village Saibona. So Junior High School was set up in a nearby building. With the passing of time, one day Junior High School was converted to a High School upto class X and shifted to the present old school building built up with the fund donated liberally by the generous people living in and around the locality.
Now our school has been converted to class XII in 2012 with science and arts facilities with a three storied building with 25 rooms, two toilets for boys and girls, a big library room, a science laboratory room and a big computer room established with the fund granted by SarboSiksha Mission.Our school has now risen to eminence far and wide with 1000 obedient students reading in our school attending school mostly on bi cycle from different villages mostly dominated by Muslim Communities.
