History

Konkapur Free Primary School was established in the year 1953.It is approved by the 24 parganas dist. Board on date 01.02.1954.Ratan Ali Mondal, a villager of Pancghara donated this land for spread of early education of children of Kokapur & Panchghara villagers. At the very beginning the school building was made of bamboos & tiles.It was simply kuchha. The villagers helped to build the school.Sri Nirmalendu Roy Chowdhury was the first appointed teacher of the school.The school was started on 15.04.1954.Amjed Hossain was the first student of the school.He was admitted in class IV.Ratan Ali  Mondal was the first secretary of the school.
