In the year of 1933, the people of Madhupur Village decided that a primary school should be set up in a nearby area for the well being of the next generation. As per the decision, it led by the eminent personality of the village M Ghosh ,whose generous donation of land and with the help of many others, it had started the journey. Today this school is a pride to the people of Bagpul Village and also for us.

This school was establised during 1933. The school started its academic functioning from |

22 March 1933. Late Hari Charan Sarkar of Village Madhupur, P.S. Badu was the first |

Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the |
|
village. That time there was no primary school at the village. But there was a Junior High |
|
School at that locality. Later the Junior High School was shifted to the nearby village |
|
Mamudpur and converted to a High School upto class X. Sererati FP School is situated |
|
at village Sererati of Hingalganj Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of |
|
foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building. However during 1983 |
|
the Lutharian Company built a pakka (concrete) building consisting of 5 rooms for this |
|
school. Thereafter till date this school got additional 5 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for |
