History

The school was founded by noble villagers of Jirat in 1971. Lt. Dhirendranath Mukhopadhyay donated the land for this school. In 1973, It got its government recognition and named as ‘Jirat Ruidas F.P School’. The school was specially founded for the scheduled cast students of the locality. But it naver ignored students from other cast and religion. The first Head Teacher of this School was Lt. Shanti Ghosh.
