This school was establised during 1959. The school started its academic functioning from 21/10/1959 . Late Jamat Ali was the first Head teacher of this school.He was one of the respected founder personality of the village. That time there was no primary school at the village. Now a Junior High school and ICDS Center is situated at villege jowpur of barasat block of district north 24 parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper paka (concrete) Bulding. However during 2007/2008 the first ACR and next ACR ware 2009/2010, 2011, 2012/2013. Build paka (Concrete) Bulding Consisting of 6 rooms For this school thereafter till date this school got 6 rooms 1 head teacher room,1 kitchen, 1 dining set, 2 sets toilets for Boys and Girl from SARBASIKSHA MISSION
