History

Dakshin Bahira Girls' Jr. High School was established in the year 2009. The former name of the School was Dakshin Bahira Jr. High school( Girls). The School is located on the land contributed by some local villagers. beside Bahira kalibari Rail Station ,under Barasat Block 2, North 24 Pgs, kol-700128. At first the School conducted all its Administrative as well as teaching-learning Activities in a near by  ICDS School Building as its own Building was under the construction- work that time.The School had shifted in its own Building in 2016.

The School Building consisted of 4 classroom, 3 Additional Classroom ,1 kitchen cum store room &2 toilets . There is a playground in front of School Building.

This is the only Upper Primary (V to VIII) Girls School in this rural area of Bahira .Girls student from Bahira and near by village study in this School.This is a School Aided by Sarva Shiksha Mission , so there are all  facilities for the student like others govt. aided School .

The students are happy to study in the School and Teachers are trying their best for the welfare of the students & Progress of the Institution.
