The name of our school is Khamarpara Jirangacha F P School. The school was established long back in 1942, before Independence. Previously the school was on a roll under Eastern ( Christians) Building. The school shifted at its present place when the land was donated by Sri Amulya Ghosh, F/O. Sri Rangalal Ghosh, a renowned personality of that time. Sri Anil Gupta was the first Head Master, who continued from 1942 to 1944 and Sri Sunil Gupta was the Assistant Teacher during that period. The first batch of the students, namely, Sri K.N.Ghosh, Habu Ghosh and many more initiated their education with this institution.
Persons like Sri Prabodh Kr. Tapuly, N.L Ghosh, T. Bannerjee and P.N.Ghosh glorified the school with their qualitative knowledge. Social worker Sri Sambhunath Ghosh and our present VEC member, Sri Abani Ghosh ( Ex.Panchayat Prodhan), also studied in this school. Many students, who passed out from here are well established in their own respective fields. Biswjit Kabiraj, one of our present teachers also passed from this school. This was the only school at that time surrounded by beautiful greenery and nurseries. Pupils from various distant villages namely, Bankra, Kalupara etc.came to this school. Day by day the school got it's development bricks by bricks with the help of Government Aid and Sarva Siksha Mission. At present we have five classrooms, one kitchen, separate bathroom and toilets for boys and girls. We have a well planned water supply for cooking as well as drinking. Both Hindus and Muslims have their lessons here without any discrimination.
