History

The school has been established by the noblemen of Chaumoha and Mudia villages in the year 1963. It was a very small building with only two rooms . Soon after it got affililation from board as 2 class junior high school in 1965. In 1967 it becmame 4 class junior high school with only few teachers and very few students. But soon it spreaded rapidly with large number students, and was upgraded as X class high school w.e.f. 1974. Unfortunately it took long time to get upgradation as Higher Secondary school in 2006. Now the school has almost 2422 students with 46 teaching and nonteaching staff.
