History

The School was established in 16 th January 1962 and thereafter the school started its academic functioning. SHRI BAIDYANATH GHOSH was the first Head Teacher of  this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the village. That time there was no primary school and high school at the village.

MAHISHGODI PASCHIMPARA F.P SCHOOL is situated at village Mahishgodi Paschimpara of BARASAT II BLOCK of DISTRICT NORTH 24 PARGANAS.

At the time of foundation the school had no proper pucca (concrete) building. However in 2004 a pucca building consisting of 3 classrooms was made. There after till this date this school got additional 4 classrooms 1 kitchen 2 sets toilets for girls and boys 1 dining hall from SARVA SIKSHA MISSION.
