History

This school was established during 1962. The school started its academic functioning from 12 January 1962. Late Rofikul Islam of Village Dugdiya, P.S. - Shason was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the village.  That time there was no primary school at the village.  Kalikapur F.P. School is situated at village Kalikapur of Barasat ii Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  However during 1980 Government built a pakka (concrete) building. Thereafter till date this school have  5 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarbo Siksha Mission.
