History

This school was established during 1970. The school started its academic functioning since 24th June, 1970. Lt Subed Ali of Majlishpur, PS - Shason, Dist - North 24 Parganas was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected personality of the village. That time there was no Primary School in this locality. Majlishpur Rameswarpur FP School is situated at the village Majlishpur, under Shason GP, Block- Barasat II, Dist - North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka building. Thereafter till date this school got additional 5 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets of toilets for boys and girls from SARBA SIKSHA MISSION.
