History

Being situated at the almost border portion of Deganga Block, the school is reputed to be a leading institution among the Jr High Schools of the Block. It was established in 2011 by the initiative of local peoples and authorities like Panchayet Pradhan, Block and Village Members etc. The school was started as co-education with 38 students (only class V, 2012). After that classes were upgraded upto class VIII. The student strength changes over time from 65 (2013), 88 (2014), 114 (2015), 99 (2016), 88 (2017),  89 (2018), 63 (2019) and 60 (2020).

Primarily, the school was started with two rooms in a new building and handled by 3 Guest teachers. There was no toilet and kitchen shed. After sometime teaching staffs were began to change, kichen shed had been made. But no toilet was provided for the students at that time. Very recently (December, 2019) toilet has been made for the students.

There are two separate schools (F P School and Jr. High School) in the same premises and a single SHG is appointed for cooking mid day meal for the students. Although there is a separate kitchen shed available for our school, but no separate SHG is appointed for our school till date.

Only two rooms are available for 4 (class V - VIII) classes. The students of two consecutive classes have to sit in one room. It is very much problematic to conduct 2 classes at a time by a teacher in a room.

The school premises is very large and vacant also. But no additional class room, teachers rooms are received till date from any higher authority end. Every year letters related to these issues were submitted by the school authority (HOI), but there is no response. 

Now a days, these infrastructural problems lead to collapse the growth of the institution. If the higher authorities pay attention to these problems and take necessary steps to solve the same, it will be very helpful for smooth running of the institution, then the smooth up-gradation of the school will be happened and the students, villagers will enjoy the benefit of it.
