Karticpur Deganga Adarsha Vidyapith is a Higher Secondary School under WBBSE & WBCHSE. Karticpur Deganga Adarsha Vidyapith (H.S.), established in 1956, was the unique venture of Late Binoy Kr. Mukherjee & Late Batakrishna Pal. Since it’s opening in 1956, it was a Junior High School consisting of class-v&vi. In 1958 the Institution was converted into a 4 Class Junior High School. Thereafter, in 1959 this Institution was again converted to a Secondary School under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education with Bengali Medium of instructions. Since 1999, the Higher Secondary Courses have been introduced in the Science and Arts Streams along with compulsory subjects Bengali and English under West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education.
