The establishment day of Polterati F.P School is zoth January 1962.Jahanara Bibi Wife of Rohimuddin was the doner of the land.After recognition by the goverment class was started at the varanda of Samad Masters house.After one year a cottage type school building was situated on the land. There after a pucca building was situated there Ajit Kumar Mondal head was the first appointed teacher. He was teacher of the school during 41 Years.
