History

In 1959 with the hope of spreading education among the poor and illiterate people of the village and its neighbourhood, some conscious and generous people of this village, Dighara, came forward to implant the seed of education in a room surrounded by fence and shaded with tiles.

Today it has turned out into a tree with a lot of prop roots. In its historical journey of 61 years, the Institution has reached its excellence to the realm of education as well as to the co-curricular activities too. With its magic touch innumerable students have succeeded to establish themselves in their lives. So undoubtedly it can be said that this Institution is the father of many illustrious students.

From 1967, the new curriculum of 10 years was introduced. The students of this Institution also showed their competence there. The school maintained its reputations.

From 2005, the Higher Secondary Section was initiated. It is the glory of students, teaching and non-teaching staff and all the people of this locality whose active contribution cannot be passed into oblivion. This Institution is now the pioneer of all-round development of pupils.
