History of Amragachi F.P. School

This school was established during 1962. The school started its it's academic function from 12 th January of 1962. Few persons of the village donated the land for the school. Shri Panchugopal Mondal was the first Head Teacher of this school. There was no primary school in nearby villages in that time. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pucca ( concrete) building. Thereafter till the date this school got 4 classrooms, 1 kitchen and 6 seperate toilets for boys and girls from Sarba Shiksha Mission.
