Founder cum first Headmaster Late Kalidas Sur, Educationist

Since the commencement in 1930 with the auspicious blessings of Sri Kalidas Sur,in our school, we have tried to be distinct and fortunately we have always had the favour of Almighty to be associated with a galore of adroit and potential teachers who, keeping faith on the objectives of the school, have always transgressed in their efforts to make those objectives mundane. In those non-digital age ,the precious efforts of Sri Kalidas Sur and later the glorious presence of Sri Jiten Sarkar as Headmaster and his foresightful efforts helped the school to be distinguished not in our block or sub-division but also in our state.

Today, we are still on the same track of pristine glory and expectant to be successful in actualising the golden footprints left for us by our forebearers to cherish.We have always been helped ,motivated and cooperated by the locals in our pursuit of precious goals and hope to be blessed by the same as we can not stand alone in achieving the great goals.We do hanker after the success of our students not only on materialistic grounds but also on larger spectrum which includes the guidance of us and the motivation and cooperation of the society as we do have faith on the true influx of fresh ideas.

Jatia High School,since its inception of existence,has been in quest for excellence through its tremendous resources of dexterous and visionary teachers and has been continuing the same endeavour to nurture the young ones for the enhancement of the larger society.The school has always given umpteen emphasis on giving prominence to the demand of the ageand never ever thought of sticking to the orthodox doctrins of the prevailing norms of the contemporary society that is what we call modernism.Of late,our heartfelt initiative of introducing Computer Application in the list of subjects taught here is the proof of our same endeavour of recognising the priority to the demand of the time.This is where we are unique.This is not the single instance but ,over the years,our moto to provide the children with abysmal facilities from curriculum to extra curriculum activities has attracted the students not only of vicinity but also the students of outer stations and these opportunities have helped the students to come out victorious as a student and complete as a human being.
