History

The helpless people left the land and settled in west Bengal from bangladesh. Realizing the importance of education along with food, clothing and shelter, they set up Garh Shyamnagar Junior Basic School Scheme No. 2 in 1963 with the help of some education-loving people of the area.

 For a long time, this school has played a leading role in lighting the lamp of knowledge of the people of Shyamnagar.  Many meritorious students have made the name of the country bright from this school, who have become mahiruh and are enriching the society with fruits, flowers, shade and shelter.
