History

Established in the year 1942 , that is prior to Independence , this Government Aided Primary School started as a small one with limited number of students from the local area.The building being donated by a generous man from the local people , the school slowly overcame many difficulties and built up a bigger school with other amenities by attracting a lot of students making it what it is today through the devotion of the teachers and the hard work of the students. Over the years it has carved a niche of its own.A number of our students have found employment in the Defence Forces and in various sports and allied  areas.Currently the School is a second home to 240 students.
