
In the year 1966, Harimohan Roychowdhury, Dr. Pearimohan Roychowdhury, Saraj Roychowdhury, Bharat Rajbanshi, Debabrata Roychowdhury and Abinash Mondal took up a missionary target to set up a High School at Teghoria in the name of famous Patriot and one of the founder members of Anushilan Samity Sashi Bhusan Roychowdhury.
In the year 1984, the Government of West Bengal sanctioned it as the Junior High School.
On 3rd July, 1986, notable Revolutionary set up the foundation stone of the School and he proposed to convert the School into a High School in the days to come.
In the year 1996, the School was converted to Madhyamik Standard. In the year 2002, the School was upgraded to Higher Secondary School. The extension of the School is still going on. Local people, students, teachers, teaching staff, guardians and the local Panchayat are taking part activity for the development of the School. The School has now become a pride of the locality.
