History

History: it is said that social economic and cultural status of a locality primarily depends upon the educational institutes with in its area. The people of Shantinagar mostly refugees and from so called backward communities felt the need of  education as the primary criteria of development which led to their endeavour of establishing this institution. Those down to earth people had realised that education was the only weapon which would bring them out of ignorance and gain them recognition in the future. So  the school is the result of their ardent desire to create a beautiful world of knowledge for their children. Shantinagar High School (H.S.)was established in 1955 with the mission of  imparting value-based education that helps create independent free thinking individuals who will combine service with excellence. Since then it never looked back and continue to gain recognition and climb new height, surmounting obstacles in its way to the path of glory in its present form.
