History

Masia Sompur Junior High School was established in 2011 after a prolonged effort of the local villagers. It is situated near Masia bazar under Baduria block. Being a new set up junior hogh school it began with few students and one guest teacher and with two class rooms. Two years later two permanent teaching staff joined the school and since then the school is on journey to excellence and providing quality education to the students of nearby villages. Being a co education school it also manages to provide a scope for girl students to attend schooling without going to far off girls' high school.  In the later years the school has witnessed a substantial growth in the number of students.
