
Long a distance away from the capital city of West Bengal there is a small but a beautiful village in the eastern end of North 24 parganas. The name of this village is SAYESTANAGAR .It belongs to baduria police station under basirhat subdivision. There are 10 primary schools and high school in this village. Among these SAYESTANAGAR F P SCHOOL is most notable. The school is situated in the middle part / heartof the village. It is a two storied pucca building beside high road runs to Bangladesh border.
At first the school was established by late 'Jinnatullah Mondol', popularly known as 'Ustatji', at the beginning period of twentieth century. Later in the year of 1942 it was undertaken by the British rulers. Since then it is a flourished institution in this area. Years past and many donations have been granted to develop the school building either from local bodies or from government. Now there are 138 students and 5 teachers. There is a playground in front of the school building and a deep tubewell beside the the boundary wall. The teachers teach their little pupils very sincerely. As it is a government aided free primary school, there runs mid day meal very smoothly and systematically. The guardians are pleased with teaching learning system of the school.
