History

Established in the border area of the erstwhile greater part of Sunderban the school was dreamt by respected Shyamacharaan Ghosh,a resident of a village named Safirabad under Baduria Police Station,Basirhat Subdivision,North 24 Parganas.The school got its first recognition on 1st March for  Class V and VI under the guidance of respected Foujder Rahaman,the first headmaster of the school,After the independence of India,the school got its govt. recognition on January 1,1968 as a Junior High School.The recognition in 1981 as Madhyamik High School and in 2001 as Higher Secondary school has created a greater interest for education among the people in this locality.
