History

Our school made the first appearance as a Middle English School in 1926. But due to unfortunate loss of record the school  was re-established in the year 1947 on 2 nd Januarywith affiliation from Calcutta University. In the year 1962 , Panitar High School was upgraded to XI class Multipurpose School with Humanities and  Commerce stream. After a few years with the change of education system it was resettled as X class hihg school. In June 2006 The school acclaimed the designation of Higher Secondary School. From then on  our school is holding the head high in the field of education in this rural area.
