History

Shibhati High School (H.S) with its greenery all around is situated in Shibhati village just seven km. away from the din and bustle of the subdivisional town Basirhat. This institution was founded by a dedicated noble soul late Sanat kumar Bhattacharya in 1944 and by his untiring efforts the achieved Govt. recognition on the 2nd January, 1948 some Nobel- hearted persons interested in education accompanied him to kindle the flame of knowledge in Shibhati And neighbouring villages. They will be missed by so many and we all owe them a huge debt of gratitude for caring so much and giving their invaluable time in making this school a successful seat of learning.
