History

Kodalia F P School is situated in the rural area of Basirhat. This school is reputed to be one of the oldest and leading institutions for primary education in North 24 Parganas.

It was established on the 1st of March in 1942 by Mujibar Rahaman, Subidali Mistry and Sukhchand Mondal to provide better education as there was no school at that time. Herajoddin Molla donated land for the school. Radhakanta Ghosh was the first teacher to start the school with 20 to 25 students at that time. Later Dildar Rahaman and Din Ali joined as teacher.
