History

This school was establised during 1940.  The school started its academic functioning from 1940. . Raharati Jr Basic  School is situated at village Raharati of Basirhat- II Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  However at present the school building is pakka (concrete) building consisting of 5 rooms for this school. Thereafter till date this school got additional 2 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarbo Siksha Mission.
