History

Baguadanga free primary school was set up seventy eight years ago in the year 1942. Some kind hearted and generous person bestowed their land for the school. With the help of the villagers a classroom was made with bamboo and tiles and fences. Class started with some teachers and students in that room.Initially it was tough to teach children in those circumstances. Teachers had to face different type of hardles. Through various retaliation the school got government's aid and the school building was built. Gradully the building became flourised. Number of students and teachers also increased gradually. Now the school building is two-storeyed. There are one hundred and ninety two students and six teachersin this school. The guardians are also supportive. With theb earnest efforts of students teachers guardians and the managing committee the school is running successfully.
