Champapukur Free Primary School was established on 1st Msrch,1942. Then Champapukur was a remote ,undeveloped, uneducated rural village before independence. Some education lover and independence-expectant villagers founded the school with a few students in a mango garden. Now it is two stories reputed primary school on the basis of this school a big higher secondary school named Champapukur Madhyamik Vidyalaya (H.S) has been developed. Mukherjee familyof Champapukur village donated the land for the school.The school became famous under strict administration and guidance of nenowned Head Teacher Late Sri Debendra Nath Das .Some student loving teachers such as Late Sri Jatu Mukherjee ,Late Sri Naren Das, Late Sri Hridoy Ranjan Roy, Late Janab Din Mohammad, Late Sri Netai Pada Das ,Late Sri Murari Mohan Das, Late Sri Bananali Karmakar, Smt. Jayanti Das, Abdul Kador Mohiuddin had a great sacrifice for uplifting for goodwill of the school. Since then the school is still holding it's high educational and moral standard. All villagers of the locality love the school by heart.There are many Professors, Doctors, Teachers, Chartered accountants, corporate personnel etc. among ex -students. Some alumnus are setteled in foreign countries also. If all stay with us we will go higher and higher in the field of education,sports, culture and morality.
