Dakshin Ranigachi Jr High School was established in the year 2009 in the village of Dakshin Ranigachi, Post: Khasbalanda, PS: Haroa, North 24 parganas, west bengal. The school was established at the initiative of sime social workers and local leaders. In the same year two retired teachers joined temporarily and took charge of the school. Initially classes were held at the campus of Kabi sukanta Primary school aling with merely 16 students. In 2010, Three permanent teachers joinded through school service commission and in the same year two rooms were erected by the side of the concerned primary school. In the year 2012 the school got a group D and thus beniffited. Another teacher joined in the very next year and the school thus was enriched. By the time now we have several toilets, a library, two water tanks, Mid Day Meal kitchen room and various others resources. Presently we have at least more than 200 students and the school created stir amongst the near by villages.
