History

Tokipur Rajlakshmi Htgh School(H.S) has a glorious history. The school was set up in 1954 after the name of Rajlakshmi Laha by the initiatives of some villegers of Tokipur. At first it was a Junior High School  with a few small rooms and Durga Bose was its first Headmaster. Hats off to the contemporary teacher of this school used to donate their lumsum which was paid them by the Government. In 1966 the school was upgraded to Madhyamik school and Kishorimohon Mukherjee was its Headmaster. The school was upgraded to Higher Secondary in 2004 with  the streams of Arts and Science. Not only that, the shool has reputation for its Vocational stream which trains the students on Computer, Para-medical and Electrical.

   So this institution is an ideal centre for learning on different subjects and streams.
