History

Harikati junior high school is a new set up school situated at the village harikati in hasnabad block. The school wasestablished in the year 2012 and started its journey with the earnest initiative of the villagers and the contemporary administration. At that time there was no literal school building and it was running by three guest teachers. In the begining of the year 2013 it was converted into a two storied building and two permanent teachers were appointed through west bengal school service commission. Now the school is running with the students who are in majority the first generation learner's as the school is located in the remote area.The school starts with the morning assembly and the mid-day meal program is organised everyday with the help of a self help group under the supervision of the teachers.Besides the teaching learning process the school provides iron tablet once in a week following the instructions of the Health department; keeping in mind the well-being of the students.The school also obseves many important days to nurture the culture of their own origin with various activities of the students which also help them in their mental development and encourage their extracurricular activities.The school is trying to give a relentless effort through a co-operative and empathetic way to provide a suitable environment for the development of the students in every aspects.
