History

This school was establised during 1962. The school started its academic functioning from 1962. Late Brajoranjon Mandal of Village Barunhat, P.S. -Hasnabad was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the village. That time there was no primary school at the village. But there was a High School at that locality.Paschim Barunhat FP School is situated at village Barunhat of Hasnabad Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building. Thereafter till date this school got additional 4 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarbo Siksha Mission.
