History

This school was establised during 1954.  The school started its academic functioning from 01 Dec 1954. Late Hari Charan Sarkar of Village Sererati, P.S. - Hingalganj was the first Head Teacher of this school. He was one of the respected founder personality of the village.  That time there was no primary school at the village.  But there was a Junior High School at that locality. Later the Junior High School was shifted to the nearby village Mamudpur and converted to a High School upto class X. Sererati FP School is situated at village Sererati of Hingalganj Block of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  However during 1983 the Lutharian Company built a pakka (concrete) building consisting of 5 rooms for this school. Thereafter till date this school got additional 5 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarbo Siksha Mission.
