                                                                           ****Prologue****

     Although India achieved Independence, the Rural West Bengal was still symbolizing the dismal image with the poverty of food, clothes and habitants. The situation was not different in the Bankra Pashchimpara. During that period of time, with the management of the senior citizens of the locality, a very benevolent saint-like teacher, Annabachhar Mondal, started to teach the students with the very obvious instruments of that period of time, Pulm Tree Leaves and Straw-Burned ink. But after a very short period of time he died and then two other local inhabitants Ahmad Ali Zamandar came forward to teach the students by establishing thrashed roof Pathshala (a very Bengali name for Elementary School).  After That, with the effort of Kamal Uddin Gazi and Montaz Ali Gazi, the local  knowledge caring social worker, Golam Rahman Gazi, for the sake of education, donated 5 Katha of his very own land willignly by the side of the road in the name of The Secretary, 24 Parganas District Primary Education Council by Registry Donation Deed. Since then, the true very young light of education began to spread. Yet stubborn and very angry in nature but quite caring to the rural bengal, Educationist and In-charge officer, Honorable Mr. Dinobondhu Das show is kindness to approve it as Govt. Primary School, named as Bankra Pashchimpara FP School. Endorsed by the council, Shri Ashok Kumar Mukherjee took charge as the very first Head Teacher on 14th October, 1955.

   Almost 25-25 teachers have cherished their golden memory to serve for the sake of education in this school so far. And more than 500 students have passed out successfully. By spreading the prominence of the school, 9-10 ex-students have been serving as teachers in different primary and secondary schools.

   At present, the institution is on three storied building equipped with very strong and modern technology as well as teacher friendly. The school is gradually getting its identity as ideal educational institution loaded with the campus of sanitized and naturally attractive environment.This school got NIRMAL VIDYALAYA PURASKAR 2018 from District Magistrate of North 24 parganas,

  With utmost assistance from the villagers, unbeaten willingness of the students and most importantly depth hearted cordialness of the teachers to serve the light of knowledge the school will gradually get its prominence. This is the determination of the liable guardians, local villagers, existing students and finally the respected teachers.
