
In the post independence period many new schools were set up to spread education throughout the country. Along with the government many Nobel people came forward in this work. Binara is a remote village in the sundarban area. A thatched house was built on the land donated by late of Sri bhudev mondal a resident of this village. The formal teaching on the school began on 16 July 1962. The first headmaster of the school was Ashok Kumar mondal. From 10 on the path to school started. Today the school is made of bricks. At present there are four classrooms a dining hall 1 kitchen and 2 sets of toilets for boys and girls.
