History

It is a pre-freedom period school. Lakshmi Kanta Mondal, Kunjobihari Mondal and few others people set up this school in 1940(01-04-1940). The school was donated by Lakshmi kanta and Kunjobihari Mondal.They donated one acre that is three bighas land.Since then the school has take an important role to make the soceity and young generation of this locality. The school is situated beside the bank of River Goureshwar and Rupamari market.In the present there are more than one hundred students and five teachers in the school.

Now it is a well school in Rupamari G.P. under
