History

Gobindakati Siksha Niketan was established on 2nd jan. 1948 at Gobindakati in North 24 Parganas .The institution has been converted from non -govt. aaided school to Govt. sponsored school recognized by W.B.B.S.E.

       The school consists of  grade from V to XII . It is a notable co-educational and H.S. schools in the remote corner of the Sundarban . Bengali is the primary medium of instruction . Every staff is committed to provide the best learning environment . The roll strength of the school is about 1126 . It has a big library having about 20000 books . The school has a big , nice , activated garden with beautiful plants and fiowers . The school offers many facilities such as stacious classrooms, big play ground , gymnasium , big MDM dyning hall, C.C. T.V. Cameras , arrengement of free coaching etc.
