History

The school was established during 1959.Its academic functioning started on 1st May,1959.Lt. Nihar Kanti Jodder,a freedom fighter,of Patghara village was the founder of this institution.That time there was no primary school at the village.During foundation there was no pukka house at the school.However a pukka house was built in the land given by Bamapada Mondal, a social worker of this village.The school got recognized on 16th January,1962.Till date,there are 3 ACR, 1 Kitchen and 6 functioning toilets for boys and girls at the school premises.
