History

This school was establised during 1960.  The school started its academic functioning from 15 Nov 1960. That time there was no primary school at the village. Balihati FP School is situated at village Balihati  of District North 24 Parganas. At the time of foundation this school had no proper pakka (concrete) building.  However during 1983 the Lutharian Company built a pakka (concrete) building consisting of 4 rooms for this school. Thereafter till date this school got additional 2 rooms, 1 kitchen, 2 sets toilets for boys and girls from Sarbo Siksha Mission.
