History

Debitala Adibasipara Birsa Munda F P School started it's journey from 6th July, 2001 and now on it's little steps were passed 20 Years of  Life. It was not easy on that day to set up a school in this area. But the Co-operation of West Bengal Government and the local people make it became possible. Few Adibasi donated this land for their bright future. They also realized that without education we can't do anymore. First school building was Kuchcha house with Palm leaves shed. Two years later West Bengal School Education Department sanctioned Two building and there after Sarva Shiksha Abhijan came and approved 11 ACR for the school. 

      Now the school has 13 no of rooms, 264 students and 8 teachers. Students of the school mainly belongs to Backwards Family and that's why they need more light of Education. 

 

       On memory of famous Adibasi Leader Birsa Munda the school is named as DEBITALA ADIBASIPARA BIRSA MUNDA FREE PRIMARY SCHOOL.
