1Media Girls'High School, a Girls'High School is situated in the remote village of North 24 Parganas. It is a Secondary Girls'High School.Media is an  island like locality surrounded by a waterland named Kankona baonr. The villagers came from the formerly known Purbo Bango after the Independence of India. They had to start their lives with much hardship and adversity being turned overnight refugees devoid of the house and land and whatever they had had so long as their own.They realised that education is the only weapon with which they can fight the situation and attain the fulfillment of life. So they set up a school ,named Media Bastuhara High School and thenafter the girls school named Media Girls'High School. At first the school was a Junior High School for Girls' but later on in the year 2000 the school was upgraded to a Girls' High School.

MEDIA GIRSLS' HIGH SCHOOL ISTHE ONLY GIRLS' HIGH SCHOOL IN TEPUL MIRZAPUR GRAM PANCHAYET UNDER SWARUPNAGAR BLOCK..THE SCHOOL WAS SET UP IN 1969 AND SINCE THEN ITHAS BEEN PLAYING AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE SPREADING OF EDUCATION.
