Really there is a vast,secret,silent history in the back plot of ous school's existence. In 7th decade of 20th centuary (1974), this centre of education,"Goalbagi Khagendra Nath vidyaniketan" appeared first with a little 'hut'  made of bamboo and straw in a very backward remote village,Goalbagi just besides the bank  of the river 'Garail'. In the then period,the locality was far from any kinds of communication and modern facilities.To say,during this period the locality engulfed in darkness for lack of ray of education.In this desert like place,with a hope creating oasis,some educative minded persons along with the land owner, Khagendra Nath Chaklader,tried hard to give birth the first land of education.Inspite of so many difficulties,they has gathered enough courage of mind to overcome all hardless and to give birth the shape of a recognised school under West Bengal Govt. Crossing so many barriers through hard struggle,the organisers coulg able to laugh with the sucess of Goverment recognisation in 1987 for teaching only junior section.A new golden feather adds to ous dear school's head with the achievement of recognisation of secondary section in the year 2000 with co-operative hands of the then teacher in charge Asish Biswas.Gradually the school is gifted with a blessing of stable guardian in 2006 due to the joining of an honourable permanent headmaster,Hirendra Nath Samadder who brings the school's final status of Higher Secondary section in 2011 and the campus and buildings of this school grow from hut to palace and is still going on with his strict dutiful guardianship.
