History

At first Gopal chandra mondal, s/o Radhaanath, Yugal Chandra  Biswas, s/o Hazari, Kushai mondal etc. are the permanent inhabitant of Auldanga were tried to found a school in Auldanga in 1950 A.D. There was no single trace of school in Auldanga before it. At first the above noble persons meet a meeting & settled a muddy small school room covering the top with bichali on a narrow public land that was not suitable for a school. The first non-salaried teacher was respected Prafullya Chandra Mitra. The above noble persons again called on a meeting with all inhabitants on 1952.From this meeting Nakul Chandra Ghosh, s/o Hazarikanta Ghose an inhabitant of Auldanga proposed, "I may give 22 Sataks land to the name of school if the school's name is on my father's name Hazarikanta Ghose ". All the present member were agreed to his proposal & decided on the meeting that the name of school will be "Auldanga Hazarikanta Ghose Free primary school ". Then Nakul Chandra Ghosh write down a deed of  daan-patra to the name of proposed school . Then the above noted persons again a new muddy school room covering the top with plam-leaves on the school's own land. In 1954 2nd February, the Government recognised the school & respected Prafullya Chandra Mitra was the first permanent teacher of recognised school.
