This School was actually established by local people in 1948, But it was recognised on 10/02/1949 by the Govt. of West Bengal. This school is located near Boyra market. The school is surrounded by Indo-Bangladesh Border on the bank of river Kapotakkho which is closely associated with great poet Michael Madhusudan Dutta who took birth on the lap of Bengal, Jessore, Sagardari. At the beginning the school was run under mud houses and beneath the trees. There was no roof over the heads of the students to protect themselves from rain and storms. Gradually it has turned into a pucca building comprising of six class rooms, a daining hall and a kitchen shed for serving Mid-day-Meal. The classes are well equipped with furnitures and electricity. There are separate toilet units for boys and girls and teachers with the availability of adequate water supply. Honourable Mr. Amiya Bose was the first Head Teacher of this school. Now the students are provided with quality education by eight trained regular teachers and a para teacher in this School. Our moto is to serve the nation producing real human resources.
