History of the institute

 

                After the end of British rule, India got the divided independence, our Sonar Bangla was also divided into two parts East Bengal and West Bengal.Millions of Hindus of East Bengal lost their ancient abode, wealth, near and dear ones and being pennyless refugee took shelter mainly remotev part of different rural part of west bengal. The village Byaspur  in the Bongaon sub division gives shelter  at her lap many of such helpless refugees.

             With the extreme effort and indomitable will power, two optimistic young men of the refugee family shri Megnath Biswas and his brother in law Sri Paroshuram Roy established a pathshala named Palli Mangal Samity besides their residence. Newly bought eighty shataks of land were donated by Shri Roy and Shri Biswas. This land became the permanent adress of the Pathshala which was later renamed as Byaspur high school in the year 1959

           The school was upgraded to class x in the year 1974 and upgraded as H.S school in the year 2004
