History

Nahata Sarada Sundari Balika Vidya Mandir (H.S.) was established in 1967 by few eminent people of Nahata , the true followers of Vidyasagar ,with help of Late Nagendranath Biswas who donated 10000 /- along with 3 bigha land in memory of his beloved mother.He will always be remembered as the pioneer of female education in Nahata.The journey of this institution began with only 199 students and now it nourishes almost 1700 students every year.
