In the year 1969, a group of interested young educated people donated land for setting up a base of upper primary education for their village. At that time to avail upper primary education most of the students have to travel Bongaon or Gopalnagar which is time-consuming and sometimes not within everyone’s access. But setting up a school and finding students at that time was a daunting task. Mr. Dipak Kumar Chakraborty First Headmaster and the other Teaching staff of the school played an important role to convince the villagers’ to send their students for upper primary study. At that time the school didn’t have basic infrastructure. Therefore generating funds for school development and getting government recognition was a hurdle for everyone related to the school. But with the vision they nourish and courage they hold the school was govt. recognized in 1972 vide memo no 1403/ Jr. High School Dt.03.01.72.After there is no looking back, and at present, it is well known to everybody in the area.
