History

The foundation day of this school was on 23rd March in 1953. The school started its academic functioning from 01 December in 1953. Late Surendranath Chakraborty of  Vill- Dharmapur, P.O - Dharmapur , P.S- Gaighata, Dist- North 24 Parganas, was the first Head Teacher of this school.   He was one of the respected founder personalities of the village. That time, there was no Primary School in this village.   At the time of foundation, this school had no pucca(concrete) building. However, the next time the SSA/SSM built a pucca(concrete) two-storied building consisting of two classrooms, the other two classrooms (one of them covering Tin shed), one kitchen room, 2 sets of toilets for boys and girls.
